HORROR OF ALL HORRORS mother tongue oral examination was on wednesday and I was very much looking forward to just getting the whole damn thing over and done with. The written papers were already quite a nightmare for me but at least there was the comfort that with some cramming of information, you can cough up a good essay. With oral, there are very few ways to 'beat the system' or study 'smart' because it's all about cultivating good speaking skills from when you are younger... ):
Anyway, on the actual day it turned out that I a really lucky person! Was grouped to be with 4C1 and ended up being the last person of f004. This meant I had the most time to prepare and calm my nerves while in the waiting room. What I thought were really "oh my shit she looks like the secretary for monsters inc" examiners (said that to my friends after catching a glance of our exam room) were actually really nice ladies. When I choked on my words, the examiner...
finished my sentences! :D
Overall I wouldn't say it went well although it didn't go bad (like bananas do after one week).

Dropped by chongray's place after debate discussion yesterday evening and since my parents were busy, had dinner at his home instead. I don't know if it's just me but I really really love chinese food. Cr always tells me I'm really asian just because I love rice. I swear it's just because he's a noodle person because everybody else looooooves rice. EVERYBODY. Okay wait, no link to having dinner at his place so let me link it now: his mum cooked awesome -chinese- food. My mum cooks chinese food too but she tends to incorporate more western ingredients inside while cr's mum is more traditional (so he says).
After we were done nomming, went to wash the dishes hehe although he kept scolding me.
"No don't wash please don't wash."
"Why don't use the bigger water spray blahblah"
"Nooooo nooooooo"
Saw some really bright flashes of light, reckoned it was lightning so we stuck our heads out of the window and decided to enjoy the breeze while observing the lightning activity. His mum probably thought we went whack.
Now we have this fantasy where we'd like a home with a glass roof and bean bags on the floor so that on rainy days we can just look at the dark skies, illuminating lightning and heavy rain drops together.
(:
