Isn't it sad that even the rain is more predictable than the salt flood?

The flood always aims to destroy.

With the rain, maybe an umbrella would suffice to protect you but the flood is merciless and it desires to engulf. Titanium walls to surround you? The flood will crush it to pulp.

Aftermath : you're left with invisible stains.

They try to come up with ways to counter this natural disaster but god says it's necessary. For us to learn. Prepared or not, the flood will get the better of us and we are to embrace it.

Maybe the flood always aims to destroy

but will you allow destruction?

When the sun sets, the earth doth drizzle dew;
But for the sunset of my brother's son
It rains downright.
How now, a conduit girl? What, still in tears?
Evermore showering? In one little body
Thou counterfeits a bark, a sea, a wind,
For still thy eyes, which I may call the sea,
Do ebb and flow with tears; the bark thy body is,
Sailing in this salt flood; the winds, thy sighs,
Who, raging with thy tears, and they with them,
Without a sudden calm, will overset
Thy tempest-tossèd body.
