companions

The past week has been filled with many many church-related activities and even though I'll admit I'm not a great christian, I'm still thankful that God hasn't given up on the mess of a person I am and that He continues to bless me with the best loved ones.

The soundies from mustard seed were reeled in to help with sajc's life concert full dress rehearsal last sunday and even though it took a lot of life out of me (hurhur) to manage the logistics, it's always so worth it in the end when you watch the students of st andrew's enjoying themselves on and off stage. Can't wait to be experiencing the real thing this upcoming friday with the boyfriend and a couple of other friends!

NAPFA five stations on monday went well for me and later on in the week we went for the last few sessions of musical practise before we had to 'step down'. Even though we're going to stay on as the excos for another month or so, I think the love and support I've received from my dingamaboobs the past year has been more than enough for me and I really treasure them so so much. It's quite scary to imagine what would've happened if I chose to stay in choir back in sec two. UNTHINKABLE.

Good Friday service was followed by a quick lunch at home before I dropped by chongray's place to finish up season three of sherlock! Yearning for 2016 to come now since that's probably when season four will be coming out ): it's okay it's a 9.3/10 imdb rated show so it's worth the wait. Dinner was at my granny's and somehow my cousins and I always end up playing really interesting card games (where I always lose).

Saturday morning chinese class turned out being rather tolerable although towards the end I relapsed into 2048. I am not a very good student. Went to roam clementi land with fellow travel buddy zhe ern and ended up settling down at ya kun for a somewhat light lunch! Tried their cheezy toast set and it was pretty heavenly. We also ventured to art friend where we spazzed over the world of visual art equipment hehe. Church's anniversary dinner was held at jurong safra in the evening so didn't get much rest after my clementi adventures but el olam never fails to punch life into your face. I am not exaggerating.

We played fried chicken head and soy sauce coke pranks on people. We stole food from each other's tables (we were spread out between two). We acted puns out. I honestly think we can be a bit obnoxious sometimes but we're at the prime age of being ridiculously loud and stupid wherever we go you really cannot blame us. (:<

I suppose I shall end off my personal recount of events with what happened today! Easter sunday service went by with me enjoying the billingual service for a good five minutes before this slew of kids came in and basically did their thing aka noise-making. Lunch was pretty interesting since it was at this hidden coffee shop we'd never been to before and it was with the younger cellgroup as well (: took the bus down to sunset way where I met up with the boyfriend and we ran towards his parents' car for fear the bus behind would be halted because of us and then everybody would throw tomatoes at us.

His parents dropped us off at clementi mall where we tried studying at starbucks. I ended up drinking two grande sized english breakfast teas which is probably why I'm a jumble of restlessness and procrastination now. It was really nice sitting on the high chairs and talking with chongray about every single thought on me head. I've realised starbucks is a great place to analyse people. Not to sound creepy or anything but you can tell who's right/left handed, who' are regulars...human behaviour is so intriguing.

Anyway chongray's school starts tomorrow after five long months of holidaying and I'm sure going to miss seeing the poop head. Not that I'm never going to see him again but we're going to be really occupied with school work and I guess it will be tough but I have faith in us. (:

Here's wishing everyone a great week ahead c:
