LET'S TALK ABOUT RED CAMP FIRST WHOO
Had greatly anticipated red camp a couple months ago. So much so that the day sign ups opened jia min and I freaked out and rushed to register.
Fast forward to the days leading up to red camp...mood: not that excited.
Somehow wasn't feeling the hype over the entire thing and was actually regretting my decision of signing up in the first place but after meeting up with zhe ern, jia min and yixian to make our way there, some sudden burst of energy propelled me into a better mood! The entire pathway to the convention hall was lined with the camp leaders who were mega friendly so it made me feel quite bad that I was beating my own mood down.
Things were pretty rowdy in the hall while people were finding their seats and all. Ze, jm and I were seated at the very front which was pretty neat since we were the people the facilitators talked to hehe. After the welcoming to rc11 we got split up into our subtribe and set off for our first path of discovery which were exploring the CCAs! We dropped by the muay thai, yoga, japanese cultural club and percussion which were all really engaging (:
Following lunch we headed to both HMS and FMS schools which was a huge relief for me because we were going to miss a huge chunk of day 2 due to grad lunch and in the end I didn't manage to come for the remaining days and these two schools are the only ones I'm more keen in!
That's pretty much eat for RC11 which I'm glad I managed to catch a day of! Thankful for all my friends, SLs and others involved who made everything so enjoyable hehe.
NOW MOVING ON TO GRADUATION LUNCH!

Pardon all the shit quality photos ):
Used my sister's old iPhone 4 (and currently also using it because my S3 has sad problems). The back camera had a crack while the front camera just has very low quality bleh.
Annabel dropped by my place in the morning to get ready together yay #bffls
We talked about how we had always pictured spending grad day morning like this and we were pretty happy it was all how we expected it to be (POSSIBLY EVEN BETTER HEHEHEHE). She wanted to curl her hair and entrusted me to do it so I tried my very best and while I can't take total credit for her fabulous hair because she has naturally wavy hair, I still think I did a decent job *pats self on the back*
Met chongray before he headed off to school to take some photos and so he could see me in my dress and then we all waited for the cab together! Cab fare ended up being >$10 which was a pleasant surprise although we ended up having to walk a little bit to the lobby.
After meeting up with a couple more class mates we registered at the counter and headed into the dining hall:

Really not too shabby for ctss hehe
It was held at concorde hotel at one of the function halls and everything was rather grand!

Okay it wasn't that bad and it was really convenient when we needed to pee + we could make a lot of noise without disrupting anybody hehe
Let's recall two retarded isabella incidents at The Very Humble Table 28
#1
after the main course is served
Jie Jun: what's the vegetable ah?
Me: this? (holds fork up)
Everybody: ???
because apparently after picking up the vegetable off the plate and holding my fork up, the vegetable fell off
#2
during the 'lucky' table draw
Me: 28! 28! (whilst holding up table number card)
number card proceed to drop off onto my place of fish
Everybody: omg isabella (also explode into laughter)
Me: MY FISH
Okay whatever.

The appetizer was a prawn and salad dish which was YUM YUM I love prawns and shrimp like there's no tomorrow (while on the topic of this magnificent protein source, the new ebi burger is worth a try/many tries)
As for the mushroom soup dish I think I was the only person who finished the entire bowl because everybody thought it was bitter ): I guess I'm just a greedy pig who really likes mushroom which if you think about it, makes sense because pigs sniff out truffles which are fungi and WELL WELL aren't mushroom fungi too
Chose the pan fried dory fish for my main course which was pretty delish too hehehe. Regarding the weird veggie mentioned earlier in my isabella incidents, we actually went to ask the servers what it was because we really couldn't decipher what it was. Hilarious thing is that the guy closest to our table said it was a tomato but we didn't believe him so he called the manager (or so it seemed) over and she laughed saying it was zucchini
For reference, this is what we ate
WHO WOULD'VE GUESSED IT WAS THIS YELLOW EGGPLANT LOOKING THING??
Moving onto dessert which was a cheesecake with a berry compote which jie jun very maturely mentioned looked like a lady's menstruating stuff.
There prom king and queen pageant was pretty funny to spectate and the other programs lined up were engaging too so many kudos to the planning committee!
There's still the class chalet to look forward next year in january which I'm hoping my serve classes won't clash with so I'm not too sad about not seeing my classmates for a while but I know I'll definitely miss them when we all start our tertiary education proper. Couldn't be more thankful for my time spent in clementi town, the teachers who have guided me and the friends I've made (:
