christmas week

19th
Butterball was free roaming around the house for his morning exercise and chewed a couple of wires during his time out which wasn't too alarming. Went to get my nails done a nice silver-gold glitter tone and also went for a rather impromptu hair cut where I chopped off quite a bit of my hair (nobody has really noticed though hehe). My sister and I got home and realised the wifi wasn't working?!?! turns out butterball destroyed our fiber optical connector nonsense and we were internetless ):

Threw the problem aside and happily left to meet chongray bwahahaha. Took the bus down to plaza sing where we decided to lose our nandos virginity together and it was rather disappointing ): maybe we're just not fans of peri-peri sauce because otherwise the chicken wasn't too bad. The sides, however, were really below expectations. IT DESERVES THE INTERNET REVIEWS OF 2/5 STARS.

Walked down the road to orchard central where we had coldstone (: probably our first times having that as well and it was really yummy hehe okay my food vocabulary is such shit. It was scrumptious. Okay - unnecessary statement. Proceeded walking down orchard road, making several stops before ending up at wheelock place to meet my sister who was at robert timms. En route we got lost and walked through marks & spencers thrice almost collapsing of delirium. But it was a good day (:

20th

Horrid morning started with my mother rambling on about the fiber optical connector nonsense and threatening to throw butterball out. To ensure butterball's safety I went to get our wifi back by dropping by an electronics store nearby with the nice uncle telling me how our previous wire was lousy and that we should be careful with accidental rough handling next time. Had no face to tell him what really happened.

Spent the rest of the day rather exhausted and in a bad mood due to the bitchy construction going on next door. ):<

21st
Woke up unexpectedly late which led me to meeting the boyfriend half an hour after scheduled meep but had a nice lunch/gift unwrapping session with him with kfc hehehe. Extremely thankful for this second round of christmas thrills with him (: sweet boy gave me john green's /the fault in our stars/ as well as a factorie gift card + a handmade popup christmas card and a handwritten letter (':

Headed down to my church for /emmanuel/ which is the play I've been making props for the past few months! And it turned out to be really interesting with all the different components coming together (: had dinner at the canteen with el olam -because food was provided- before cr and I took off to little india where we originally planned to visit mustafa but due to insufficient prior knowledge we detoured and decided to visit haji lane instead! It's a really interesting environment at night although I'm sure it differs in the day - less party people and whatnot. Cr got a shirt before we walked down to the bugis area searching for some upcoming gift exchange goodies! Ended the night with him dropping me off at home once again (:

22nd

Woke up at 12 in the afternoon and spent the next hour and a half waiting for my parents to come home and feed me. And the rest of the day was a blur of nothingness.

23rd
First half of the day was spent in school for musical practice which wasn't one bit taxing because halfway through I got called out to do the photo shoot for musical hehehe. It was fun being surrounded by the light booms and having mr chia annoy the crap out of me but eventually I had to get into character which didn't pan out too well because I can't pull off a bitchy face ): why isabella why.

After session ended, chongray brought me for chicken cutlet nearby at a coffeeshop yumyum I love being with him when he isn't repetitively shouting nonsense in my ears. Just kidding I love it when he does that too. Maybe.

Went to his place to have a quick shower before we took off to admiralty for el olam's annual thanksgiving dinner (: had such a good time eating great food, singing songs like a bunch of closet carollers and exchanging nonsense presents too. Very blessed to be surrounded by this very deafening group of people.

24th
Was in the crappiest mood all the way till the evening when I headed over to my relatives' place for our annual family christmas gathering! We really don't do anything especially 'rahrah' during these meet ups. That was proven through standard activity log of everybody there:
- get 3 servings of food
- play 2 rounds of saboteur
- collapse onto sofa to watch Spy Next Door, mock channel 5's latest gameshow, watch Rush Hour 2
Jackie chan is the best.
When I got home I opened all my presents and for the rest of the night I watched Jiro Dreams of Sushi before concussing at 3am.

Butterball loves doing this when we set his bag of hay on ground level. Too adorable.

25th
You'd think this would be the most eventful day but no.

Christmas service was really fun although I was a bit drowsy from the lack of sleep. The following hour after church ended, the olam-nites (or olampians) just sat there in the hall doing absolutely nothing. Nat chan and I were being retards taking hostage of peoples' belongings. Later on when they headed to city square mall for lunch I went home. Got changed and left the house to meet chongray at macs for our lunch. Then I was blacked out throughout my studying till towards the end he sat beside me and patiently taught this idiot girl mole concept. Damn you chemistry.

26th
Back to school for cca once again! Was really tired in the morning so i was rather grumpy until lunch where i hyped up a little more! I hate not knowing what to expect for cca sometimes like there's no scheduled routine. Honestly I just want to dread activites in advance of them actually being carried out.

Dropped by chongray's house after cca to get changed and sat in the kitchen talking to him and his sister while feasting on chocolate hehe.

Then took the bus to church for music ministry thanksgiving dinner (: ate loads of pasta because i didn't get to each much of the meat and it was free and easy so we were just sitting around talking to different people about life as it is. Had our gift exchange which went by 'white elephant' rules and i ended up with an eraser making kit from marion as well as fake havainas from thailand because nelson didn't want to keep his own gift. Also got an extra gift of red and white lantern fairy lights from nelson :B

So thankful for all my gifts!

27th
Woke up at 9ish feeling extremely sheepish. One of the worst feelings ever is to be so tired your eyes can feel it. Seems like the eye bath didn't help much either because the minute i walked out of the house i was blinded by the sun and my eyes pulled their shutters down again. The minute i saw chongray my nose started bleeding. I have no idea why but it was pretty hilarious because i felt the drip come down and oh crap and he ran to my rescue with a wad of tissue.

After my nose stopped pouring blood we started baking! Was really insistent of baking with him this holidays and wanted to give his family something too so we baked white chocolate cookies & cream blueberry cheesecake together (: was pretty exciting putting the thing together and after we were done we just shoved it into the fridge to let it set for a couple of hours. After it set, we tried a slice and then had lunch at 4:30 hehe. BEST WESTERN FOOD BREAD EVER. wah it was like mantou but not mantou. So oily, hot and crisp (uh like you could describe bread as cripsy) me likey.

Walked along sunset way to the bus stop and met kitties and the same puppy we always see! And we came across a puddle on a roof of a concrete block so i folded a paper boat and we had a little fun with it too hehe. Little thrills.

Got home, washed up and all before heading to turf city for a japanese dinner with my relatives! It was my aunt's birthday so my uncle asked us down and it was a pretty amazing meal. Although i can officially say i have tried the more exotic things, i'm not a fan. Just for bragging rights (:

Came home and let butterball out who was in an extremely good mood! He makes me so happy i don't ever regret getting him. He's grown quite a bit so we're thinking of getting him a new cage next year.

More tiring days to come in the following weeks. I'm not ready to dive into 2014 but i'm ready to leave 2013.

P.S: i hate the inconsistent shapes and sizes of the photos too ): sorry!
