looking up

I'll admit the past week has probably been the best since the holidays ended.

Headed to jcube last saturday with cr for lunch at kungfu paradise hehe i love their food. Had cellgroup followed by practice at night which was so tiring because service was at the sanctuary and their sound system is harder to manage ): duty the next day wasn't too bad and then had nice lunch with the family at old airport road whee.

Nothing much happened in school the next two days except for the trigo test which i hope i'll do alright in meh.

National day celebration (omg i typed separation at first) in school was pretty neat and isabella was spazzy. Had prata lunch with boyfriend after chinese remedial and then watched monsters' inc at his place hehehe. SULLEY :3 dinner at malcolm's place followed. First time having a full peranakan meal and it was pretty yummy (i cannot be a food critic lol)

Had hari raya lunch at chatterbox and awman i wouldn't go back there. Explored h&m with my sister and hehehe i want new creepers/platform sneakers now. Went home and concussed for two hours. Had pepperoni's pizza before heading to the cousins' place to do work yay. 

 

I am rather shit at documenting my days - I'M SORRY.

Won't say i'm super patriotic or anything but i really love national day parades hehe. Except in 2010 where i got to watch the parade live at the padang, every other year i will religiously sit in front of the television and watch the whole parade and get very hyped up. I have issues.

Yesterday was another exception because i sorta watched it live but from a distance at the greek theatre place near the flyer with chong ray (: we walked around marina square for quite a bit before we had dinner at popeyes! It was a really nice spot because we got to watch the tanks and scdf vehicles make their way to the float and then we got to see the helicopters too yay yay! In between we played charades and then did temporary tattoos for each other too (: so couple-y gosh

Sat at the outdoor theatre thing and tried to watch it online but OUR PHONES DON'T SUPPORT FLASH PLAYER ): still enjoyable just sitting there 'soaking up the atmosphere'. I'm very over-enthusaistic about these things.

Fireworks were really nice although we couldn't see the higher ones. Me like the crackling sounds.

For the post-parade dancing part we just sat there and i realised how mainstream i am. Ah well.

Walked around for the longest time because the roads were all blocked and then we had no idea where to go ): in the end we walked across to mbs to bayfront and then since the line ended at marymount for our train we took a bus back to my place from there! Ended up walking us to the wrong bus stop so ended up doing excess exercise bleh

And then i passed out on the bus

I always leave out so many details but who really has the time to read into them anyway?
