Anyway, yesterday we had our class outing at east coast park! There was a barbeque planned and some night games but besides that we were pretty free to go cycling and whatnot. Because zhe ern was grounded and annabel had to be there super early (class committee responsibility ew) I was planning to go by myself but the sweetest boyfriend said he would send me there. (:
We were really anticipating to have a good mcdonald's meal but but but IT'S CLOSED DOWN!!!
Starving bellies still needed to be filled so we had a pretty nice meal at the hawker centre. The place is pretty deserted in the day time since it's more of a dinner/supper place so we managed to have a whole 'hut' to ourself. Basically there are these pavillions that house about four tables and while we only occupied one table, we pretty much had the entire place to ourselves! We each got a bowl of $6 hokkien mee and some satay after that hehe.
Went off to find my fellow maroon tee shirt buddies later on! Bike rentals were $8/hour but you get another hour free so yeah, about a dozen of us went to rent bikes while kaiming and I brought our own rollerblades. Derek didn't know how to ride a bike but he still decided to rent one so we spent about an hour waiting for him to learn (': ultimately he managed to cycle for 10 metres (we dubbed it the best 10m of his life) before he totally swore off cycling.
As punishment for being such a wimp, we made him walk alongside us as we cycled and bladed to the jetty wheehee.
Our class is pretty adorable. We had a 'cooking team' which consisted mostly the ug girls and class committee people! Recruitment for the cooking team came via a text about a week ago but you know, I'm scared of poisoning people so I didn't reply -guilty-
Started feeling really chilly and sick so I spent most of the time sitting by the table and talking to the best classmates ever!! Later on, went to one of the benches nearer by the beach with annabel, derek and kaiming to have a 'life talk' as A calls it. It was really nice with the sea breeze in our faces with the view of ships docked in the distance and the many many stars in the sky. Thought about the tfios scene where hazel lays in the grass and looks up to the starry sky and because I was developing a fever and feeling sick I felt a bit like her HAHAHA.
Towards 9pm my body couldn't take it anymore and I walked to the food centre to wait for my sister and mum to fetch me although they took quite a while to reach and I cried waiting for them because sometimes your body gets too overwhelmed by the discomfort of a fever whoops. Got home and turns out I was burning at 38.6° but after I showered it went up to 39°.
Was feeling pretty upset so I talked to cr over the phone and I was freaking high I couldn't stop giggling, laughing and talking in varying pitches. He told me that I should rest at home on friday and saturday but we had plans to go to my church and to baybeats on those two days so I burst into tears HAHA goodness I was such a wreck.
Good news though is that I woke up today and my temperature has dropped back to the normal range ((((((: don't know why but in the past few years, I recover from my fevers overnight with the help of about just one or two pills of panadol. Pretty cool but that sort of means I don't get to skip school often.
Alright I am done with my sick journal. Hit my highest temeperature last night but glad to be back on solid ground with my delirium gone hehe.
