semi-legal sixteen

Since the labour day holiday last thursday it's been a crazily hectic seven days for me! I've completed 9 mid-year papers and what do you know I've turned a year older too (:

Everyone was really busy with revision so I had a low-key birthday lunch with just the boyfriend at pizza hut hehe

It was a rainy afternoon which in turn made lunch a little cosier? We ordered quite a lot of food and ended up having a mini feast with my own personal pan pizza, his beef lasagna -both with the soup of the day and a drink- and shared side dishes of the fries and spicy drumlets. Walked around popular and ntuc pretending to be some old married couple before ending up at subway because I had to start on a little revision blehbleh.

To be honest, my birthday really wasn't a big deal to me but I did feel an overwhelming sense of gratitude at the end of the day with wishes coming in from people I'd never thought would have cared. And of course I was also reminded of my lovely family and friends who have always been there for me even though I'm such a piece of shit sometimes (:

Besides the birthday festivities, lymey was back in singapore for a couple of days and the clementi town people had a nice lunch and catch-up with her at fish & co! It's been a while since I've had a proper lunch out with my schooolmates so it felt, for lack of a better word, good!

Also, it was ms tnee's birthday today so the drama girls prepared a little card to surprise her with before we had some fattening fun times at kfc (:

I'm glad that this season of examinations is coming to end although I'm not quite able to shake the study blues off yet. I feel as if I'm missing something and it feels so painful trying to figure out what it exactly it is. Just have to keep my eye on being happy.
