The mister and I have been wanting to have a day out at the beach since the year-end holidays in 2013 but we didn't get the chance so during this short week of term break holidays we managed to set wednesday aside to have our little getaway at sentosa.
The haze has thankfully, over the past week, subsided but rain has taken over with 'thundery showers' pouring all over practically every quarter of the day so we checked weather forecast and decided to take the risk of spending the morning at palawan! The weather turned out to be really amazing when we got there and we started off by laying on our mat and basically slapping sunscreen all over ourselves because we were sizzlingggggg. Sun soon chased us into the sea water and ack to my pleasant surprise there were loads of fishes by the shore waiting for me to play with them. Obviously failed with playing with the fish so chongray and I pretty much bobbed around in the waters before exploring the two beach towers (?) that are apparently landmark the southern most part of continental asia.
After a bit more lazing in the sea and chasing fish we had a little picnic of pizza flavour pretz and played frisbee too! It was my first time playing it proper and it was so fun hehehe or maybe it's just funny watching chongray jump and run around catching a plastic disc (: palawan was really quiet and there were only a few couples here and there so we had a really relaxing time playing and walking along the shore and what not. Ended up at astons for lunch after we were done at the beach and had a little time to walk around vivo before we went back to his place. It rained after a bit so basically we had the perfect sunny outdoor beach morning and sweater weather cuddle afternoon. How blessed (:
