Painting a Picture

Driving at 112km per hour through the dark highways of malaysia.

With your headlights off, you'd see nothing.

The road is only illuminated by the stickers that reflect light along the dividers.

Trees to your left and the right though you can't see them, you see their blur silhouettes because you're travelling so fast.

Through the darkness you can still see the clouds. Light, white, fluffy lifeless clutter of water vapour.

You can see the stars.

The sky is a dark canvas with these little bright, some twinkling, bulbs. Clouds underlay this canvas.

It's a 3D artwork. It feels surreal.

Stars don't move, they follow you.

You're in a dream of black, white and sparkly lights a million light years away. Some are already dead.

Death star. Live light.

The stars are gone. Blinding lights flash past in the opposite direction. Man-made lights. Hurts my eyes.

Talk of religion and science. Thoughts of myself thinking a lot. I wonder if the giraffes at cape town where jean is now think. About the wind or the sun or anything else that surrounds them. I don't think so. I think they don't think much.

The sky bulbs are back. Yay!

Lightning illuminates the whole sky for split seconds.

More talk about the economy, society, shallow people, complacent people.
