You can't tell if i actually do though because this is a cyber blogger-reader relationship we have.
ANYWAY it was a good four days (sorta) away from home although i got pretty sick at one point. Kaiming asked me what happened to me and i told him i had cholera and he spit out his milk tea. Hahaha okay no. Basically i puked, had really bad diarrhea, nausea and little appetite but it was still pretty enjoyable (:
Was asked to be a group leader for camp this time and i was pretty nervous about it coz everybody in the group was at least six years older than me except carmen who's a first time camper! Theme of the camp was Tune In! so our groups were named after bands which sounded like they could link to christian ideas. We got abba whoohoo!
Won't describe much in detail but i skipped high elements (very sad face) and only did games on the third day but they were all fun nonetheless! Playing quidditch in the rain..nothing really beats that although my face doesn't prove as evidence of the statement above. Oops.
For finale night we all had to do an item using songs from our band so we did a skit-musical on publicity for next year's camp and used dancing queen, mamma mia and money money money (: and we did really well (': so happy everyone was so on with the idea and we had loads of fun. Came in second overall yay!
The guest speaker was really good and i've been reflecting on his sermons. I've been sharing with el olam and with abba that the point that struck me the most was when he said that we're merely just tourist in this world and the time our life here is like a water droplet in the ocean. We spend so much time working for earthly achievements and we don't set aside enough time with God and then i thought about myself and how i've been so caught up with so many other things ):
Definitely strengthened as a cellgroup through camp! Did the traditional thing and stayed up on the last night! :D technically i did and didn't since i slept from 1am to 2 plus before joining the cell. The rest were playing homojelly (self made super fun card game) while i stoned at a table watching dom and isaac play old man tai ti. Dom's playlist is (y) (y) then played blackjack then stole someone's phone to use insta.
Towards the early morning we were playing mind games like listen, how many meh meh jumped over the wall. I fell asleep after a while on the table and then woke up and changed to sleeping on the canteen bench. Then all the girls went back to the dorms without me and samuel had to wake me up )':
I guess that sums up camp. Spent many hours sleeping today and my grandma called and i don't know what happened but we had a conversation of some sort. In chinese.
I've decided to give myself a break this week. Okay actually just the next two days. Staying home tomorrow then heading to ikea on wednesday and probably the library too with chongray on wednesday (: youth forum trng on thursday and friday and i'll be in malaysia on saturday and very very soon, the year will be over. Wow.
JEAN IS IN CAPE TOWN.
I'm going to buy some people mooses from ikea for christmas and baking some cookies. Yay christmas. I love christmas.
